Couldn't get the foxfire home page with the toolbar so removed the program from the control panel and reinstalled it. Now when I click on the icon the hour glass shows for only 1 to 2 seconds but foxfire does not open. How do I get it to open ?

Do you have the Firefox icon on your quick launch? Right click on it, and select Open New Window. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.
