How can I add one profile from my old computer to the new profile on my new computer? Can I merge the two so all the emails can be in one profiile?
Working on a computer for someone. Their previous computer guy some how did not export the entire profile. The new profile on the new computer doesn't have all of their email from the old computer - some but not all. I copied the profile from the old hard drive and was able to point Thunderbird to it and we could see the emails that he was missing. How do we get those old emails from the old profile into the current emails and new profile? Can I "merge" the old emails in with the current emails so that both old emails and new emails are all in the same profile?
Thanks in advance for any help!

As you already have a new profile with emails, it would be easier to import the mbox files into the new profile.
Use this addon extension: ImportExportTools.
How to Install Add-on Extension:
- Open the add-ons manager ( then )
- Drag your downloaded XPI file to the add-on manager tab and drop it.
or
- and select 'Install Add-on From File'.
- Locate the *.xpi file you downloaded and click on 'Open'.
- You many need to restart Thunderbird when prompted.

For folders of same name eg: Inbox Suggest you import to 'Local Folders' and then manually move them into the Inbox to prevent overwriting the current file.
For folders you created on old profile, but not created in new profile, you can import into the respective mail account.
Right click on mail account name (or Local Folders) and select: Importexporttools > Import mbox file select: 'Import diectly one or more mbox files' If you have a folder with subfolders which you need to import then... select: 'Import one or more mbox files, with its subdirectory' click on ok
locate the mbox file and click on 'Open'
