Mr
I have two computers. All Thunderbird arrives on both computers. If I'm using computer (a) and read the emails is it possible to stop them arriving on computer (b) when i boot it up?

Go to Account Settings > Server Settings. Untick 'check for new messages at startup'. You can untick 'check for new messages every X minutes' too if you want. You'll then have to request your messages manually.

Sadly that didn't change anything, all incoming emails are still going to both computers.
Anything to do with me using Virgin as my ISP?
