I have gone through the trouble guide and reset everything mentioned in the about:config list to defaults. I'm not sure what changed to start blocking solarmovie, if it was a windows update, security system update or firefox itself. My computer uses f-secure client security, but I can't find anywhere i can select which sites are blocked to see if it is coming from that end. The error makes it sound like it is firefox that is choosing to block access though:

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I can access the site no problem on my tablet that uses a different browser, so it's not the site itself. I have an ad-blocker and some other add-ons stalled but nothing new. (I was using all of them before, when I had access to the site)

Thanks.

Hi nukekitten, f-secure is not something I am familiar with.

I suppose it is f-secure that is intercepting your connection, and Firefox is detecting that. Presumably you have seen and read

Do you get an option to set an exception on Firefox itself ? It is something you would normally avoid trying to do if all HTTPS is blocked but do you get an option to set an exception on Firefox itself using the advanced option ? If not you could try keying in this special code into the addressbar while on a blocked site

chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul

The f-secure software may be the culprit and somewhere in its settings it may have an option to turn off scanning of https sites. If so that will probably resolve the issue. I do not know what your security products are but I note this f-secure site does state it supports Firefox

and for instance I found this question

I do note from one question on our forum that f-secure may have separate Firefox extensions that may be disabled individually or by using safe mode
