I have 2 LDAP address books that do not display any emails addresses. If I search for a name, I will get an entry to display. If I compose a new email, first I go to view, Contacts Sidebar, then I d a search for an entry. I will get an entry displayed. I'm needing to get both LDAP address books to display the entries. I have checked all my settings compared to my peers. They are all the same. I've done as much searching as possible, but, there hasn't been any solution that works for my issue.

Thanks in advance for any help

In my experience, Thunderbird doesn't show anything from an LDAP connected address book until you search. A dot (period) is probably the safest and easiest search to use to get it to show something.

My coworkers are able to see the entries for both the LDAP address books. There is something I am missing or it's a bug with Thunderbird. Does anyone got any ideas on what is causing it? I'm on versoin 38.5.0

As far as I know there are no problems reported for version 38. Do you see the same problem wtih version 45?
