I can't find my bookmarks on my Firefox. I tried the standard restore button but it is totally blank. No backups are in there. How do I restore my bookmarks??

My bookmarks suddenly disappeared from Firefox and everything seem to reset. Even my homepage went back to firefox default, (instead of google) I followed other steps trying to restore my bookmarks, but there isn't even a bookmark restore file. It just cause a manuel search as if there isn't any backups available. How do I get my bookmarks back??

Hi, it sounds as if for some reason a Refresh has occurred - it shouldn't remove your bookmarks, but unfortunately it occasionally does. Please look on your Desktop for a file named Old Firefox Data - Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
