Some pages print with much overprinting and other formating problems.

Some pages print with much overprinting and other formating problems. (example atached) Usually printing with Internet Explorer is a success but not always. I want to print what I see that is rasterize the page I am viewing and print it. (It would be nice to be able to save it as a image too.) I have an addon for this that works most of the time with Windows 98 but does not work on later versions and does not seem to be disributred anymore. I tried searching addons for print but got 447,151 results, the first few seem irelivant. Any ideas other than capturing the screen, scrolling by hand, repeat then stich it all together por into printable pages by hand?

That's pretty terrible.

There are many possible reasons for Firefox to overprint, including fixed position elements and other style rules that are handled nicely on screen but poorly when breaking the content into pages. While we can often suggest workarounds for particular sites, there is not really a general solution.

When you notice that kind of disaster in Print Preview (or on the page), you may want to grab a screen capture of the page for your records. For example, you could use:

A PDF converter might also work. For example:

Clearly that extension doesn't work on that page. I don't recommend it anyway.
