After the newest update my Firefox stopped working. It doesn't even open, the more I try. So, I decided to uninstall and reinstall, several times, from the Mozilla Site but with the same result: nothing happens. In despear I even run a windows troubleshooting and, at the end, the result was "incompatible with Win10"...

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Thank you Mkll for your concern on my problem. I run Microsoft Safety Scanner, which took 2hs and, at the end, a report said there was no menaces in my PC. I'm becoming crazy for this. What is preventing Firefox to run? Thank you, indeed!

Did you uninstall it completely and then download FF57.0.1 for offline install and see if you get the same problem?

Yes, EstEnd. I uninstalled several times and, after, accessed Mozilla.Org and the installation was made directly from there. So, what is going on I think it is a mystery for Sherlock Holmes, unless the mystery being Microsoft trying to banish any app that poses "menace" for its IE or Edge.
