Firefox does not appear in volume mixer in Windows 10
Firefox does not appear in volume mixer in Windows 10. No sound is audible in Firefox. The same Web sites work well and produce audio in other browsers. Everything's OK with PC audio system.

Hi yk320, These solutions helped others:
1.) Open Windows Task Manager select the Services tab right-click on Audiosrv select Restart
See if Firefox is in Volume Mixer.
2.) Open Windows Task Manager select the Processes tab find Windows Explorer DO NOT End this task ! right-click on Windows Explorer select Restart

I followed your instruction exactly and still no Firefox in volume mixer. Microsoft Edge was there but disappeared, but I can hear sound from Edge browser. I can hear system sounds and my speakers are working fine. But still no sound in Firefox. I have cleared the cache and cookies but still nothing. I have been using Firefox ever since it came out and would like to continue using the browser.
