I've always been able to open attachments I receive with no problem until just a few days ago. Suddenly, my options for opening anything other than a PDF have narrowed to 5 options, none of which work. The option for the default application (TWINUI) has disappeared except for attachments that are PDF's. I haven't been able to open any other types of attachments including DOCX and DOC. This is really causing problems in my work. Any help is appreciated! I'm using Windows 10. The 5 options that show for attachments are: Internet Explorer, Notepad, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows Media Player, and Windows Wordpad Application. As I said, none of these work.

I think you may well find your Windows installation has issues. See here https://www.ctrl.blog/entry/what-is-twinui.html

Thank you for the link. It looks like I might need to "restore the registry from a backup before the corruption occurred", however I have no idea how to do that. Would you be willing to tell me? Thank you.

When you open an attachment from within TB, click the drop-down and select Other..., and if the opening app isn't listed, click Browse... and select the exe that opens the file type, e.g. winword.exe for doc and docx files. See picture.
