TB crashes after activating Lightning
TB worked well for yearrs. A few weeks ago I added Lightning ans calendars on my Synology NAS using TBSync. For some Reason I canot usSSL but can connect while in Home Net. Some weeks it worked fine. Suiddenly Tb crashed every time after restart. That means I got the hourglass and nothinmg more for long time. It neede some time to realize that lightning is causing this. So TB works in Safe Mode and I havr ro deactivate lightning TBSync syncs my contacts, too. But this ok. I starte a fex times a new profile. But after connecting to my NAS calendar it ens in crashes again.. The first time I configure TBSync nd the "Provider for CaldDAV and CardDav" without Lightning it says it can connect but cammot use without Lighzning. Then activating Lightning the same story. As I stop TBthrough Task Manager there is nor report to send. The same to TBSync. I was afraid that the calendar on the NAS was corrupted and asked the Synology support is anything changed after an upsate therre. But no. And the Adnroid can sxnc finely... What can I do?!

PS: I reboved Lightning meanwhile. Even this my virus scanner kaspersky Internet Security asks my password every time I open Thunderbird. I use TNSync and "Caldav aand Calendar Provider" om Win10 Prof. First I used for contacts only (CalDABB= and there was no request to free the not registrated ceruficate but after using CalDAV I got this request. so I expevted to loose thix behaviour after deleting the CalDAV connection. So there must be any information in Registry....
Given the number of issues I have seen caused by Kaspersky, I would suggest you start by removing it and see if it changes anything.
