radio players stop when mobile phone screen goes into power-saving mode
I've had the new version of Mozilla Firefox for Android for a week. Plenty of unpleasant problems, among which: I can't listen to the radio anymore. When the screen goes into power-saving mode, the player stops (sometimes it doesn't stop immediately). Same when I visit another tab (keeping the one with player open of course). I usually listen to the radio when I'm having a shower, you can imagine how annoying it is to have to type my 4 digit code on the screen every 2 minutes (because my fingerprint won't be recognised with wet fingers).

Unfortunatelly it's possible only in Beta version ATM.
You need to disable dom.suspend_inactive.enabled in about:config (requires Firefox Beta).
Hi TyDraniu, Thanks a lot for your answer, which I don't understand unfortunately, because I don't know what a "Beta" version is (and also because I'm not sure what ATM means: at the moment?). I don't know how to implement the solution you suggest either... Stephanie
Sorry, I just tested it on Beta on some radio and it still stops. Only video/youtube plays.
So I have no idea how to solve it.

Ok, thanks for trying ;)
Firefox for Android Beta is a pre-release version of Firefox you can install for testing, or to get new features early.
Firefox Nightly is an even earlier ("alpha") release; it gets nearly daily updates. It now has this extension available:
menu > Add-ons > Video Background Play Fix
That fools the page into thinking you are still looking, but Firefox still seems to need the about:config change so it doesn't stop the audio on its own:
