Youtube live streams work fine on windows, but they don't work at all under Linux. Firefox is up to date on both my operating systems that I dual-boot. Getting an NS_BINDING_ABORTED error in the network console. I deleted my profile to be sure it wasn't due to any extensions or settings I've changed, and the problem remains. The Linux itself is also a fresh installation, and I had to download a tgz version and remove the snap to get the latest, because Ubuntu was stuck at 99.

Should I do a screen recording? Because it happens with any and every live stream there. I also have not tried twitch.tv

The Linux itself is also a fresh installation,...

One package that is very useful to install that is not normally installed on a new Linux distro install is FFmpeg. This provides the codecs needed to fully support the HTML5 players used for video, audio and games on sites like Youtube and Twitch. Otherwise you only have partial support and may not able to play Youtube live streams or recent Youtube videos uploads.
