Hello, so I "think" I have everything checked to open tabs in a new window. Issue is when they open they take over the window that I'm currently using. Is there a way to have regular link in my bookmark bar to always open in a new window?

Thanks

Make Firefox automatically switch to newly opened tabs by opening the "Options" window, clicking "Tabs," and then enabling the "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" option.

Like the OP, I don't want to switch to a new tab I want a NEW WINDOW and the window that held the link should still exist on the task bar so I can go back to it.

To force opening a link in a new window you would have to hold the Shift key and left click the bookmark. For forcing opening a bookmark in a new tab, you can set browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs to true on the about:config page.

Oh well. I guess I am out of luck. I am using a tablet computer with a virtual keyboard so actions like that are very cumbersome. Especially when the link becomes hidden by the keyboard. Or did I misunderstand something when you said, "...and left click the bookmark"? I want to follow the link.
