Extension button
I totally appreciate Firefox!
but the new "extension puzzle button" really isn´t implemented well, I can´t move any extension around, customize or remove anything, very infuriating!
I like to only have a set amount of extension shown in that menu, so I don´t have them cluttering up my toolbar.
The extension icons are also massive in the drop down menu, which I would appreciate if I were on a device with touch, which I am NOT... So I am simply asking for more customization, since this button is a deal breaker for me! I presume this is also the case for a lot of other users.
And please also let us remove this button if we don´t want it. Firefox users really like being able to customize their lovely browser :)

Mozilla is gathering feedback on being able to move/remove the button over on Mozilla Connect, and on the styling of the drop-down. Could you contribute to the following threads (click the "thumbs up" button to vote for the issue to get attention):

Before I visit those links, can you please clarify something for me?
I had 26 items in my overflow menu.
I now have 10 items. They all consist of Firefox built-in apps.
There is an option to pin to toolbar. Subsequently, you're supposed to be able to drag and drop a toolbar button to the overflow menu.
But apparently, that only applies to built-in app buttons, which means that if you have a ton of addons, you will be limited to their use/access relative to the amount of available space on your toolbars. Which essentially means you will have to make a choice to sacrifice certain addons in favor of others.
I must be missing something, or doing something wrong?
I don't get it.

You can think of it as Firefox having two overflow menus now: built-in buttons on the earlier menu, and add-on buttons on the Extensions button drop-down.
Thanks, that clears a few things up for me.
What I also don't understand is how the addon order is achieved. It's not alphabetical. and why the user can't resort them, just as you would if they are on the toolbars, or for that matter, on the original overflow menu, where it can still be done. In customize mode, the extension button menu is not accessible.
But I'll take those discrepancies to the appropriate venue, as you suggested.
Thanks again.

Currently the only way to sort items in the drop-down is to pin all items to the toolbar and then unpin each of them in reverse order, each item you unpin is added at the top, so the last item you unpin becomes the first in the list.
