Als ik firefox open krijg ik de volgende melding:

De opdracht STAT is niet gelukt. Fout bij verkrijgen van berichtnummers en groottes. Mailserver pop.mail.com antwoordde (Sys/Perm) . Your account is not unable for POP access. Please visit your Gmail settings page and unable your account for Pop acces.

Hoe los ik dit op?

U heeft het over Firefox maar u zet dit bericht in het Thunderbird forum. Ik vermoed dat deze vraag inderdaad over Thunderbird gaat.

Als u Gmail met het POP protocol wilt gebruiken moet u dat instellen in uw gmail acount, zie https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=nl Ik zou echter adviseren gmail met het IMAP protocol te gebruiken zodat de mail overal bechikbaar blijft, zie https://support.mozilla.org/nl/kb/thunderbird-en-gmail
