Firefox 3.6.3 crashed on start up a few weeks ago so I tried to upgrade to 3.6.6. Now it crashes on startup; I researched the website and it also won't start-up on safemode with disabled extensions. Have deleted and reinstalled multiple times.

Mac OS-X 10.6.4

Hmm. It seems there are two bugs out for your crashing thread. 1 resolved and 1 new. Below are the bugs

Bug 564089 New

Bug 452318 RESOLVED

As for your problem, the only thing I know to try is to update your flash player

I updated flash player... no luck. I DO get a briefly appear window with a paragraph beginning with ALERT.... and something about a profile... but it disappears and is replaced with another Tell Mozilla about the crash. I will try to screen shot if I can.
