Why doesn't (latest) Firefox support YouTube's website as well as Google Chrome does?

When I used Google Chrome in the past, I noticed it supported of resizing editable text fields at YouTube, but Firefox "can't see" those resizing lines and thus can't resize any edit boxes at all there.

I wonder, if Firefox will ever fully support YouTube's webpage or Google company has gone insane and makes webpages that will work only in Google Chrome and not in any other browser, I for sure will not use their cheap, unpractical and unprofessional browser.

Firefox doesn't have a feature to change the size of "textarea" boxes, but there are extensions that add that feature to Firefox.

Resizeable Textarea - simple, but doesn't work for all textarea's. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3818/
Text Area Resizer & Mover - works with more textarea's, but it is a lot more complicated and might interfere with a mouse gesture add-on.

Firefox 4 will have the possibility to resize text areas, provided that the website uses the CSS code to enable that * (-moz-resize: horizontal|vertical|both).
