How can I get rid of 3.6.16 and revert to 3.6.15, which doesn't crash?

Since installation, Firefox 3.6.16 has crashed four or five times. I'd like to take it off my computer and reinstall Firefox 3.6.15, or whatever the previous version was. Can I do this? And how do I do this?

I had this same problem. I couldn't find the previous version on the mozilla site, so I got it from here instead:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

After installing 3.6.15, it works fine again and no longer crashes. I also went to: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Update and checked the radio button to have it ask before installing updates so that it wouldn't automatically put 3.6.16 on again.

Another option is to move to Firefox 4, which works well.

Hope this helps.
