save and quit
Is the latest Firefox 4 has the feature of asking the user to save tabs and windows upon exit?
This feature is available on Firefox 3 below.

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
- Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- Locate the preference browser.tabs.warnOnClose, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true
- Repeat this for these 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit, browser.warnOnRestart and browser.showQuitWarning

Thank you!!!
arzu, to follow the instructions TonyE gave you must put the "about:config" in the address bar of your browser.
About your email link problem try going to your menu toolbar, and clicking: "Tools>Options>Tabs" and tick the box for "Open new windows in a new tab instead" That should handle that.
If this works, it is very useful. Here goes nothing.
Tried TonyE's solution and all those settings were already there.
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
