Guys, I find the McAfee site advisor really useful. I upgraded FF to v5 and McAfee site advisor is disabled (instability). When/if is this going to be rectified? Really disappointing in what is otherwise the best and most stable browser out there!r

Not much more to add. Version 4 of FF worked fine with McAfee Site Advisor live. I have the McAfee total protection software on all my PC's- as it has proven to be the most reliable for sure- so I have confidence in the Site Advisor- and would like to have this app available when using FF.

The McAfee Site Advisor 3.3.1 extension was the number 2 cause of crashes in one of the Firefox 5.0 betas and Mozilla Blocklisted it. That extension is disabled in Firefox 5, Firefox 6.0beta, and Firefox 7.0alpha versions. McAfee is working on a new re-written version of the Site Advisor extension to fix their problems - ETA is mid to end of July. https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/blocklist/

McAfee was notified on May 27 and has had a month to work on their extension so far.

Hi James

Thanks for the response- you guys are on the ball. I look forward to the McAfee update, and I now undestand the onus is on them to fix the problem.
