Many of my add-ons are not supported by version 5. I don't want to spend hours tracking this down. I just want version 4 back, and to stop mozilla from automatically updating my computer to v5.

Google toolbar, etc. are not supported. You've completely disrupted how I do business. I'm using Internet Explorer in the mean time until you provide me with a way to go back to V4 and stop upgrading my computer. Not appreciated.

Hi :-) To re-enable add-ons that aren't compatible with the latest version, you can force compatibility by following the instructions in the article: Re-enable add-ons that were disabled when updating Firefox

Thanks - that worked. But seriously, I now have a trust issue with Firefox that I didn't have before. I'm amazed they can be this brazen - to issue - to FORCE - a release others haven't had a chance to catch up to. Looks like they've dropped support for the previous version 4. Unbelievable. Arrogant. Without warning.

For the record the new release cycle was designed to benefit the user with more features in a shorter amount of time. It also has disadvantages though.
