all of the search bars and text fields highlight in a light green when i'm using Mozilla. and on some text fields, the text is not even visible even though text is present. how do i resolve this? it was working fine one moment and not the next.

it doesn't show this on Internet Explorer or on Google Chrome, but only on Mozilla. i've tried uninstalling and re-installing Mozilla, but issue is still present. and all of my Google searches has failed to provide any solutions.

this started when i was using Google to search for a song. after i entered the information into the search engine, a small box popped up on the same page the Google search results were on. and the small box happened to pop up right in front of the link i was planning to click, causing me to accidentally click the box instead, which i was not able to view any details about.

Maybe this issue with Comcast Constant Guard (Keystroke protection)?

i think that was the problem. i simply downgraded to Firefox 5, not only because of the highlighted text fields, but because i was getting a lot of crash reports whenever i opened multiple tabs. downgrading to Firefox 5 resolved it.

Yep, Comcast Constant Guard Protection was the problem. I temporarily disabled mine and the Google search field properly displayed my keystrokes.
