FireFox 8.0.1 does not work with most sites that functioned with no problems under earlier versions. I wish to uninstall and go back to an earlier version.

You can uninstall Firefox 8 first before you downgrade to Firefox 7. However, when you uninstall, make sure that you don't choose the option "Remove my Firefox Personal Data".

You can access a list of Previous Versions of Firefox, however, note that Firefox recommends using the latest version since older version may have security and safety vulnerabilities.

P.S: it may be a good idea to create a Restore Point before you uninstall, in case you mess up, in which case you can just restore and start over.
