This is my second post on this topic and no one helped last time, but I'll try again. The tabs no longer recognize bookmarks (usually only the first open tab recognizes bookmarks). This makes the Firefox browser almost non-functional.

This is my second post on the same topic and since no one helped last time, I thought I'd try again before I went back to Internet Explorer. I was recently upgraded by Firefox and the tabs no longer recognize bookmarks (usually only the first open tab recognizes bookmarks). This makes the Firefox browser almost non-functional. When I open the second tab, I get something that says "go to a website", but you can't go anywhere and when I click on the browser bar, i get something that says "your connection is not encrypted" even thought I'm still on my home page. I can't find any help on the Internet for this....would like to keep using Firefox, but, heck, if you can't use many tabs, it's like 1999.....Not sure you need any more details...it's all right there in the question

It would be helpful if you could explain the steps you are taking. Are you speaking about when you select a Bookmark from the Bookmark Manager/Bookmark Toolbar they do not open at all?
Marshmallow....thank you for the reply....the problem occurs when I open a second --or third-- tab. In prior Firefox editions and in IE, when you open another tab, all your bookmarks, etc. are available to you. Now, when I open other tabs, I get the notations described above.
Did you try what I suggested in your other thread?

Yes, I did try that and the problem persists.
