I have lots of tabs open with authenticated resources. However, if I want to do something quickly without losing them, I have to enter master password. It is long, but secure and I do not always have the time to enter it and then confirm all the passwords from all the tabs. Can I somehow force firefox to behave like opera, that is, asking password only in the tab that asks for it without barring me to use the browser until it's done?

Maybe delay displaying the tab content until you focus a tab.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: Don’t load tabs until selected

That's actually better than my original idea. Thanks!
