I want to sync my desktop to my new laptop. I entered the code both ways, desktop to laptop and laptop to desktop, enter, then the original Firefox Sync page comes back up. Directions say "See Where can I find the code to add a device to Firefox Sync? for more information" This is nowhere to be found. HELP!!

hello, does this article help: How do I set up Sync on my computer?

basically you first have to set up a sync account (with mail address and password) at one computer (let's say your desktop).

as soon as you've done that, switch to your laptop, in options > sync click "set up firefox sync" & "i have an account" in the next step. then go back to your desktop & in options > sync click on "pair a device" and enter the 3x4 digit code that is shown on your laptop & confirm. this should do it...
