Hi, I have this problem which started lately. I rarely restart my PC since it's always on anyway. Now, whenever I restart my PC or Log off then Log in again, FF forgets active logins and history and I login to all my sites again. The problem is only shows on FF and not any other browser since I have another three (ie, google chrome and netscape) + FF but I use FF mainly and rarely the others.

I checked all softwares I installed and no cleaner here like ccleaner and Antivirus settings are checked. I also uninstalled FF completely and installed latest version and tried to login to one of the websites before I install any addon.

ok, seems it was kinda of virus or malware that keep the pc on its state (can't show the hidden folders and files, firefox freeze so not history or active login saved) i changed my antivirus and used combofix/ccleaner to get everything back and ready again.

Does this only happen after rebooting the computer?

So you keep all those cookies when you close and restart Firefox without having rebooting the computer?

Did you check your security software or try to disable those programs temporarily by booting the computer in Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen)?

Yes, only after rebooting the computer (or log off then on again).

Yes, It keeps all those cookies when you close and restart Firefox without having rebooting the computer.

Yes I check my security software (AVG Free) settings to see if anything wrong.

Anyway, booting the computer in Safe Mode with network support did keep the cookies and the logins fine. I'm replying right now from the safe mod and everything looks fine. But I cannot guess what app cause the program.

TeamViewer was the cause of this problem. I passed through hell of restarting computer like hundred times to reach to the app that causes the problem.

TeamViewer SERVICE that starts at the startup what causes the problem so when I stopped that service, everything was fine. Now I uninstalled TeamViewer (Version 8) and everything ok again. Thanks cor-el for the good suggestions.

at this moment, i returned home and restarted the PC and seems the problem is there again. i tried the safe mode and the problem gone only with safe mode booting. so, i booted the pc at normal mode then i disabled all startup applications, then i restarted to normal mode again and the history/active login are deleted. so the Safe Mode with network support solve the problem but i do not know why or what the app that doing that :(.

Any suggestions please ?
