Thunderbird is deleting some emails from my DRAFT folder. And does not list them - nor move them to Trash. Weird.

Periodically, Tbird has been displaying a message - ie "12 draft emails deleted". and i not know what has been deleted. Scary.

The emails are not listed. Nor is user asked to OK a list.

And not even moved to TRASH folder.

I not even sure if any drafts are deleted.

That sounds like IMAP synchronization with the server. Check with your provider what automatic aging they do with the drafts folder. Or it could just be drafts you have sent from your phone. This synchronization is all good, except when you try and work out where the deletion actually started out.

The draft messages are probably versions stored by autosave if you have it enabled in Tools/Options/Composition/General. The Drafts folder usually works better if it's kept in Local Folders instead of the remote IMAP server (see Copies & Folders in Account Settings).
