Sorry, pushed the wrong button.

Install disallow Script Button {web link} The Disallow Script button looks like a letter "M" and the title is the Minus Script, drag and drop the button on a toolbar. If the button is not displayed then nothing operates, except rules for plugins.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

If those pages are still there when you start Firefox, try this. Open Firefox using a link to some other page.

Run several or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
