Can't log in to account. My password doesn't work.
TB opens, can read mail but can not delete mail. TB keeps asking for my gmail password, which I enter but TB will not open. Have been trying for several day to open TB to no avail. TB says that a new password has been sent to my gmail account, however, it has never been received. Sure need your help. Thank You, Warner

is the password working with Gmail in the browser? try it now. I don't know if gmail will lock an account if you enter a wrong passwort too many times but you'll see when you log-on with the browser. have you gone through the instructions here ?
Thunderbird has nothing to do with email password administration and is not going to send you a new password. No idea where you are getting that message but it is not from Thunderbird.
