Customized property in searches and filters

I want to create filters and saved searches to organize my inbox. I have several created, but now I would like to use a criteria that is not listed in the property box: I want to create a saved search to see in a separate folder (virtual) the messages received from contacts that I have clasiffied in "Family" category. I would like to do this way because there are quit a lot contacts and I took the work to clasify them. I hope it was possible usign customized properties in search criteria. Is it possible? How I have to do? I can't find articles about the utilization of the customized properties.

Customized properties are header fields. Your address book is not a header field.

Perhaps if your a javascript person you might ba able to use a filter to tags mails and search in the relevant tags. But you would been something like FiltaQuilla
