We have seen a lot of occurrences of issues with Helvetica fonts on Windows platform over the past years. The Helvetica font is usually only installed and used on the Mac platform and versions installed on Windows can give a lot of issues.

You could try to find a (TrueType) Helvetica font variant that works better and doesn't give issues in Firefox if you really need this font.
