After 31.1.1 no e-mails downloads

[Update: The pw prompt problem described below was cleared after re-booting my laptop. All is good now, I'm getting the pw prompt and new messages are downloading normally. Not sure why a TB update should require reboot though. I shutdown my system every night and the TB update was done a few hours after the morning system start up.]

I'm having a similar problem, but I'm not sure it's the same. POP sever account with GoDaddy (pop.secureserver.net). The option to get messages on startup is selected. Before updating to TB 31.1.1 I would get a password prompt when I started TB. Now I no longer get the prompt and no messages are downloaded.

I do get the Connected to pop.secureserver.net status message at the bottom of the screen, but it seems that nothing happens after that. This is where I would have gotten the dialog box to enter the password before the 31.1.1 update.

I also don't get a pw prompt when I click the Get Messages button. I don't have any stored passwords.

My guess is that this is a problem with handling the password vs the actual message download process.
