to create a backup: Open firefox and press ctrl+shift+b you will get a window. on the top right corner you can find menu "import and backup" select "backup" from dropdown menu and choose the location.
to restore the bookmarks: Open firefox and press ctrl+shift+b you will get a window. on the top right corner you can find menu "import and backup" select restore->choose file->select the file and press 'ok'.
