Firefox just performed an auto update which loaded successfully but now I can't use Firefox. I did the restart option and now I just see the start page and nothing at all will load.. There's no URL listed. It just says "Search or enter address." I can't connect to the internet now with FF. IE works just fine.

You may try to remove all the add ons and clear the cookies and browsing history. Then restart Firefox If the problem is not solved. Uninstall the Firefox and get the latest version from the web and install it.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
