I can't get back to my message list.
I am new to Thunderbird. I was going through my message list. I would look at a message and delete it and would be returned to the message listing. Suddenly it won't take me back to the listing of my emails and I can't find a way to get back.

It is a little hard to tell you how to get somewhere when you do not say what you are seeing now. I will take a guess. Do you have the Folder Pane showing on the left side of the screen? If not go to the menu bar and select View-Layout-Folder Pane.
No menu bar showing? Press the alt key to make it appear.
Do you have so many messages open that all you have are message tabs across the top of the window? Right click one of the tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Then get in the habit of closing message tabs after reading the messages.
