Firefox crashes
Hi, I need help with Mozilla. I've been using it for several years and have never had problems. But, now the screen is black. And, a message comes up saying that it crashed.

On the first issue, many Windows 7 users are reporting a black screen when starting Firefox 33. Unfortunately, Firefox 33 is not compatible with some older graphics/card chipset driver software.
- Temporary workaround is to disable Firefox from using hardware acceleration.
- Solution is to upgrade your graphics/card chipset driver software.

When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox Crashes" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash report IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.
