Can I have different message filters where each does reply-to-template with different templates?

I have message filters that look for different strings in the body of a message. Depending on the string found, I want to have an automatic reply-to-template action where there would be a different template for each different string search. It appears, however, that all of the different search strings end up using the same template. Thus, I wonder, is there really only a single message template that will be used, regardless the filter? If so, what can be done so that more than 1 template can be invoked?

First create some template emails and store them in the Templates folder for the mail account. Each template would need to have a name so that you can identify which template you are using. The 'Subject' line is the means that Thunderbird uses to identify which template to use.

For each Filter Rule Set up the conditions to use to apply one of the templates. Do not set eg: several conditions to use three different templates in one filter. It will not work as expected. But you can use several conditions to use one template in one filter rule.

Perform these actions: Reply with Template and select the actual template name = subject.

If you continue to experience an issue: Please provide screen shots of the different Filter Rules. So the forum can check for any irregularity.

This is exactly what I have done. I am not at the computer where the problem is; I'll get back to you with screen shots.
