Firefox gives error not responding when trying to download a file
I have tried every troubleshooting step that I thought might work with no luck.
When trying to download a file from an email attachment or a website Firefox hangs for a moment then goes to (not responding) and goes dim. It then gives an option to wait or close and look for a solution.
I am able to download files in Version 29; however, not any versions after that. I am able to download files in IE.

In the newer version, I would highly recommend trying these troubleshooting steps: What to do if you can't download or save files
That is the problem that I am having. I have went through all of those steps and I am still unable to download files in FF.
