Firefox no longer remembers my last session
Firefox always remembered my last session and restored all tabs when I came back. Now it just warns me on exit that I am closing multiple tabs. What happened? Now I just come back to my home page. This is weird. How do I get it to always restore my last session?

It's been like that for quite awhile now. Firefox saves your browsing session all the time; having Firefox always open your previous session is set in Options > General = When Firefox starts- Show my tabs and windows from last time

Thanks much. That worked. I can't imagine how it got changed!
Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.
You can check browser.sessionstore.* prefs including browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash on the about:config page and reset browser.sessionstore prefs that are user set (bold) via the right-click context menu to the default value to make sure that Session Restore is enabled and working properly.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
