Cannot enter data on websites, can connect and view, but not enter any data
I have been using Firefox for many years with no problems, but just recently, although I can connect to any website and view anything, I cannot enter any data. For example if I type a comment on Facebook, I cannot post it, nothing happens. Similarly I cant do online payments through my on line bank site. In the interim, I am using IE 11.0 instead of Firefox 35.0 but it is a nuisance. Any idea what could be causing this?

Very strange, problem has now vanished, I can do posts and payments without the problems I mentioned initially. Only difference I can see is that I am now using Firefox 35.0.1. In any event, my problem has gone away, so I am not going to spend a lot of time on working out why it happened. However, thank you for the suggestion

hello robertjohn, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

It suddenly seems OK to enter data and post it on Facebook. I am waiting until I have to make another on line payment via my banking site to see if that is also now OK. If not, I will try safe mode and see what happens. The odd thing is Firefox has been working perfectly with my banking app for many years and I have added any new add ons. However, as said I will wait and see what happens with the next on line payment.
