I am located in Sweden, but use the English language on my computer. Yosemite is set up to operate in English. Firefox stbbonly insists on having a swedish interface! How do I change this to english? The solution given in the Help; setting the prefered language in System Preferences/Languages & Region doesn't work. As a matter of fact I've removed all laguages, but english.

I never had this problem in Mavericks (10.9)

hello Svenne_I, you'll have to choose the language at time of installation (but by default firefox would have offered you the swedish version when it detects that the request comes from sweden). you can just go to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ where all languages are listed and download and install the english version on top of your current installation - all your bookmarks, passwords and customizations will remain...

Thanx, that solved the problem. Strange I have never had this "problem" before. I've been using Firefox for years and years.
