Disable all of your suspects. Then restart Firefox. Is the problem still there?

If so, re-enable one of the suspects, restart Firefox. Has the problem returned? Go on to the next, continue until the problem returns.

Once found, place the suspect under arrest (disabled), and tell us who it is.

SBoxie and Shadow Defender are not disable enable.

I opt browser in to sandbox as well as opt system into system sandbox

place.sqlite are excluded by SBoxie and Committed coming out of Shadow Mode...

all I know is Bookmarks work'd every time for a time and now bookmark is back to original issue....some sites bookmark others do not..

suspect places.sqlite is corrupted again

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

Use the Places Maintenance extension to check the system.

if there is still a problem, rename the places.sqlite file

My toolbar is fine but the star is gone from my URL bar. I want it back. And I want to get rid of that drop-down arrow and the reload. I've handled it my way for years and don't want that drek on my URL bar.

Please tell me how to restore the star (bookmark) which was great. And how to delete the drop-down arrow (which is terrible and annoying and could be an add-on instead of a force-on) as well as the force-on reload.
