Has the general.useragent.override.websitehere.com feature been re-added to Firefox?

more options

A few days ago I was reading on this site that the general.useragent.override.websitehere.com option for setting site specific user agent strings feature was removed from all firefox versions, I confirmed it at the time and yeah, it no longer worked. Now today, I tested Firefox, Aurora and Firefox Beta with my old general.useragent.override.websitehere.com settings and it's now working again, on all three of the version/builds listed above. Can someone "in the know" confirm or deny the status of said feature? Is it back? Just back temporarily? Should I expect it to be removed again? Or? I just don't want to re-add all my custom user agent overrides again only to have the feature taken out again.

Thanks for your attention to this post again and I look forward to your reply.

Scott.

Hi Scott aka South Okanagan:

I see that you have already added yourself to the bug at: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=933959#c22

That's the best place for discussion of technical topics like this one. This topic is technical and not one that most folks care about and therefore it's better to discuss it in bug 933959

Cheers! ...Roland
