Please update to the most recent version of Firefox:
Also consider clearing the cache of the recent logins I was able to successfully sign in to both mobile versions of the sites with no issues.
reposting reply from duplicate thread:
V37.0 FF for Android. Have cleared all cache and private data. Still experiencing password/username unknown login failures at online banking sites like Wells Fargo and BofA. This is a repeat post from 2 days ago, thanks to the lone responder. I have cleared data/cache and ensured latest version is installed. Are there other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your good counsel.
Hi ganymede235
Yes I have other suggestions:
- Please try uninstalling any add-ons you might have: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-firefox-android-add-ons
- If uninstalling your add-ons doesn't help please let us know try Firefox 37.0.1 and please tell us what you did exactly (perhaps you are trying to use the desktop version of the banking sites by accident?), what happened, what you expected
Cheers!

Apologies for the multiple thread.
Cannot now find the new open thread for this gripe. Sorry I am a novice here, but I'm grateful for the helpful suggestions.
I've forced an update via Google Play, going through the FF menu did not recognize my v37.0 new install lacked the update to v37.0.1.
That version is installed. Add-ons are disabled (there was only one, a Cisco H.264 codec, no other add-ons are listed.)
I am attempting to login to Wells Fargo online banking (it is the mobil site.) I enter my correct id and pw. I am rejected, back to login screen, with red letter warning indicating login id or pw not recognized.
The same site works flawlessly for my Wells Fargo app, and the native Samsung Internet browser.
This "feels like" a FF security problem. The exact same things happen with Bank of America site, as well as my secure online Healthcare site.
Help!?
Hi again ganymede235
You wrote: "I am attempting to login to Wells Fargo online banking (it is the mobil site.) I enter my correct id and pw. I am rejected, back to login screen, with red letter warning indicating login id or pw not recognized."
Could you please post a screenshot showing the error message?
Sorry but I really can't help further because these are American banking sites and I am based in Canada and I therefore have no way to test them out.
I will ask guigs2 who is based in the USA to take another look. Please recall that guigs2 was able to logon successfully to these sites, so triple checking your userid and password is about the only thing I can suggest at this point other than posting a screenshot.
Cheers!

Hi ganymede235, I am familiar with the wells fargo website. However since this is an issue with login information is it possible that the mobile device might be auto filling a password was was incorrectly stored?
To find out please check: Mobile Password Manager and check the entries listed for wells, bank of america and the healthcare site.
To make sure that the site that has loaded is secure, tap on the lock icon in the url bar, does it say "Verified by: VeriSign, Inc. Encrypted"?

Also for this description, does the About Firefox page from the settings now successfully reflect version 37.0.1?
for what it is worth I am able to access a Bank of America account using Firefox for Android 37.
If you have the url of the health care site handy we may be running into a security fallback issue, can you please share the url to confirm?
It is the Stanford Hospital &Clinics online patient web-based communications service at:
