I will be active online shopping, while looking at some items, when I click on an item, my computer starts spinning looking to connect with my internet provider. I've tried repeatedly to fix, but am unable to understand how too. Sometimes I get a message saying that FireFox is not compatable with Windows or that my 'network adapter' does not work. I am in complete and utter loss for words...when I changed my browser & set as my default, FireFox, it works great/fast, but then it loses its connection and the only way I can get back online is too Defrag the hard drive, that works every time but takes a lot of time...it appears to me that something in windows is in conflict with FireFox, I've checked that FF is my default, it is, but now, when I click on it, instead of taking me to my homepage, a window pops up asking if I want Mozilla to take charge? What is that all about...it seems I'm just one or two clicks on my settings away from being back to normal...any & all help would be sincerely/greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hello!

I would consider doing a Windows Update. Next I would update your drivers. If that does not work consider a fresh reinstall of Firefox.

Update Firefox to v38.0.1

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
