I work from home and the company I work for uses Citrix platform. The company IT folks are the only ones that are allowed to update the versions of anything -- including Firefox. Therefore I am currently on Firefox version 31.2.0. Myself and other WAH agents for months experience random flashing black boxes that last a milisecond and occur ONLY on Firefox. Is this a problem that is inherent with this version? We never experienced this problem on older versions of Firefox. It is causing me to have daily headaches and even aura and full blown migraines. I cannot use another browser because the Cisco tools I need only seem to function on Firefox. HELP!

Can you change browser settings? If so, try disabling Firefox from using hardware acceleration as a potential workaround for incompatibility with your graphics card/chipset driver software.

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again, assuming the setting is saved. Any difference?
