Yes thank you, that worked and that web Bar is gone, so a check of the history - new copmuter come with internet explorer and did a general search to find firefox - histroy shows Folder - everydownload (everdownload.net) and under this is : MozillaFirefox for windows 7 64. I have tried to copy and paste the link - does not copy - it is quite long - http://everydownload.net/aus/mozilla-firefox/ and lots more?? - all this has reminded me at the time, or just after install, I found two other programs - saw them before (months back) and new they where spam - one was "trubo" type to increase speed and one was a driver checker - just uninstalled them and did not record names - must of come with the same download.

Is it a bar that appear across the top of the desktop that looks like this:
Another user reported that recently.
In a web search, the closest thing I found was a reference to a program named Web Bar, which tends to be bundled with free downloads. Could you check here:
Open the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help surface undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Be suspicious of everything you do not recognize/remember, as malware often uses important or innocent sounding names to discourage you from removing it. Take out as much trash as possible here.
Also, could you check your history on where you got Firefox? If they are bundling crap with Firefox, it might need to be shut down.

Thank you for naming names. They gave you "Every Download", including ones you didn't want!
