How do I keep that stupid tune from playing every time I open a new tab?
Every time I open a new tab I get a very annoying tune to go along with it. How do I get this to stop. I tried restarting firefox in safe mode with add ons disabled and it did nothing to stop this.

This is a weird problem, which is not a part of Firefox's feature. However sometime people faced this problem. I'm not sure will it work but you can try this step: - Go to this link: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize...] - See the How do I turn the New Tab page off section. - This problem doesn't occur if you set the new tabs to open in "blank", not "enhanced" or "classic".
